11/14/11: From Mike Scantlen: A great warm, sunny day for the usual Sunday Fliers at HCRC was had by all. Outside of the circular tire-track divots, (which didn't affect heli operations), electrics and nitros ruled the skies. Catch the late season weekend flying if you can!

FlyOver: 11/01/10: RC Pylon Racing at the NATS, credit to AMA! RC Pylon Racing
On August 20 and 21 Was HCRC's Annual Fun Fly, and I would like to thank all the workers who helped with the set-up,cooking, parking registration, spotting, announcing, take down, picture taking, running around and generally contributing to the event to make it a success. .While we did not get the amount of pilots that we have had in other years, either due to the price of gas, or the very accurate weather reports that changed every 90 minutes during the week the quality of flying made up for that.
The clubs from N.H. came down and once again made a good showing. Their planes looked and flew good, and if you stayed at the field late, you would of been treated to some foamie flying, a really great dinner, and an outdoor viewing of the history of aviation, on a DVD, which is why I stayed . We had several very large electric planes, which surprised many with their capabilities.
Again I would like to thank the workers, and for the members that didn't come to the meet, next year would be a good time to come out and support your club, or spend the winter building a scale plane and show off your building and flying skills.
Thank you,
Mark T. Mundie
A Special Thanks goes to the Contestants who travelled near and E-SPECIALLY Far!
